
Members of the 501st Legion are not only passionate about Star Wars and cosplay in general. One of its main missions is to support local communities. The Imperial Fortress garrison is no exception and we are proud to volunteer and help various organizations here in Quebec. We do fundraisers, hospital visits (specifically for sick children), and work with other organizations that provide help for kids with a variety of issues (health, poverty, etc.). Furthermore, during conventions where the Fortress appears, we usually collect donations that we distribute to a number of organizations and charities.

Substantial donation from TD Bank after we participated with them in a private viewing of Rogue One.
Starlight Children’s Foundation
Volunteered for a day of fun and play with sick children.
Quebec Cancer Foundation
Volunteered for a day of activities during a fundraiser (Orchestre du Septième Art).
Fondation Réno-Jouet
Volunteered for a fundraising gala with the foundation.
Autism Speaks Canada
Participated in a walk to bring awareness of autism, and with movie screenings for children with autism.
Fondation Charles Bruneau
Volunteered for a fundraising activity for the foundation with Tour CIBC.
McGill's research fund for head and neck cancer
Volunteered for a fundraising gala with the foundation.
Service des bénévoles de l'hôpital Sainte-Justine
Visits at the hospital and participation to various fundraising events.
Autisme Montérégie
Participated in a walk to bring awareness of autism.
Children Miracle Network
Participated in fundraising activities in various Wal-Mart stores in Quebec for the release of Star Wars - The Force Awakens DVD.
